Dr Shien-Ning Chee

Dr Chee is a consultant dermatologist and fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She is the Clinical Lead of the Severe Eczema Clinic at Westmead Hospital, and is currently serving on the National Examination Committee as State Examiner for NSW.

Dr Chee obtained her medical degree from the University of New South Wales, followed by a Masters of Medicine in clinical epidemiology at Sydney University.  She completed her dermatology specialist training at Royal Prince Alfred, Royal North Shore, Westmead and Westmead Children’s Hospitals in Sydney.  Dr Chee was also awarded a scholarship to complete a clinical fellowship year at the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London, focusing on psoriasis, eczema, photodermatology, autoimmune blistering diseases, cutaneous lymphoma and urticaria.

Dr Chee has co-authored several book chapters, published in Australian and International peer-reviewed journals and remains involved in dermatology registrar teaching.
