Dr Eleni Yiasemides

Dr Eleni Yiasemides is a board-certified consultant Dermatologist specialist and Mohs Surgery proceduralist.

She completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales and graduated with honours. She then undertook research in the role of Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) in the prevention of skin cancer at the University of Sydney, obtaining a Master of Medicine post-graduate degree. Dr Yiasemides completed her dermatology specialist training in 2010, and completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia in 2011.

Dr Yiasemides is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and Fellow of the ACD Mohs Surgery. She is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatologists, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dr Yiasemides has published research in local and international dermatology journals. She is a college Supervisor of Training and is involved in dermatology registrar and GP education and examinations as well as holding a variety of positions for the Australasian College of Dermatologists, including serving on their board.

Her interests include skin cancer, Mohs micrographic surgery, acne, skin care and cosmetic dermatology.

She is fluent in modern Greek.
