ProFractional Laser Resurfacing

The ProFractional Laser is a specialised laser that can significantly improve the texture of the skin. It is used to improve acne scarring, surgical and trauma scars, reduce pore size and produce mild skin tightening. The laser makes thousands of tiny microscopic channels in the skin, causing the skin to regenerate new cells in a very even pattern, so that the damaged areas are smoothed out. The process leaves the surrounding tissue intact so that healing is rapid. Three to five treatments are usually required, depending on the underlying skin condition. The ProFractional laser can also be combined with other treatments including Erbium Laser resurfacing, fillers and scar excision.
